Gala fund raising evening set for April 20th

Denver – The Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado will present its annual fund raising Gala on April 20th, 2013. This year’s event – Pearls at the Palace, will take place at the historic and beautiful Brown Palace Hotel. Community volunteer, Kate Petrocco, is chairing the black-tie optional event, which will feature entertainment by Denver’s own Hazel Miller, and the Hazel Miller Band.

The evening will provide an elegant forum in which to honor the exceptional support of Brooke and Tom Gordon, who have been named as Honorary Chairs for the event. Brooke Gordon is a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, and brings a particular passion to the work of the Foundation. “Tom and I are very proud to be chosen as Honorary Chairs for this year’s event because epilepsy is a very personal cause for us,” Brooke commented. “It is very important to promote awareness and facilitate conversations to combat the misinformation and stigma that often accompanies epilepsy. This event is a wonderful way for the community to support that goal.”

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado and the Jason Fleishman Summer Camp.
