Epilepsy camp taught me that I can't hide the fact that I have epilepsy. Since epilepsy is a major part of my life I need to tell people that I  have it so I can get help when I need it most. I also believe that epilepsy camp helped me see that I'm not the only one who lives with epilepsy on an every day basis. Therefore, I realized that it is okay to accept the fact I have epilepsy and it's not going to just disappear.
