About Us

Marcee Peterson

Marcee Peterson received her MA in Psychology and Counseling from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and her BA in Social Work/Minor in Criminal Justice from Iowa State University. Her past career experience as a social worker for the Department of Social Services in Colorado and Minnesota, a therapist/counselor for adolescent offenders and their families, and a provider of in-home services for children with Fragile-X Syndrome has provided her with a unique set of skills and knowledge that have been transferable to this position at the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado. Marcee began her journey as a Program Manager for the Foundation in 2006. Since then she has been dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of people affected by epilepsy and appreciates the opportunity to create, implement, and build programs in response to the needs of those in the state of Colorado.
