November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month
What can YOU do to be part of the awareness?
November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. It's time we start to Talk About It!
This November, for National Epilepsy Awareness Month (NEAM), the Epilepsy Foundation is asking you to Talk About It! Epilepsy affects people of all ages and races, and represents one percent of the population in this state—over 43,000 people. And although 3 million people in this country and 50 million people worldwide have epilepsy, we are still reluctant to Talk About It! NEAM will focus on the power of personal stories and encourage communities of all sizes to talk about epilepsy together. The tools below are vehicles to get the word out and encourage people to Talk About It!
